The plastic jar is a practical and universal packaging solution suitable for the safe packing of a wide range of products in the fields of cosmetics, body care and DIY production. Thanks to its solid construction and high-quality plastic material, this jar is ideal for packing thicker as well as loose products that require reliable protection against dust and contamination. The smooth surface of the jar allows for easy labelling with a sticker or print, which facilitates the professional presentation of finished products and test samples.
This jar is supplied as a ready-made set of container and lid, so there is no need to purchase separate closures or dosing components. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the construction of the jar is adapted for the safe packing of thick creams, butters, ointments, gels and loose blends such as scrubs, clays or powdered cosmetic ingredients. The solid walls and well-fitting lid help minimize spillage or drying out of the contents when stored correctly.
The jar can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safe usability of your products.
After emptying the packaging, first remove the residues of the original product mechanically, then wash the jar with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinse well. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and the lid with an alcohol-based product, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% plant ethanol. Allow the disinfectant solution to act for a short time and then let the packaging air-dry.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for recycling, remove any remaining contents and, if applicable, labels, and dispose of the packaging in the appropriate container designated for that type of plastic. Recycling rules may vary locally, so follow the recommendations of your collection system. In this way, you support the reprocessing of the material and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
The simplest way to choose is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material category. After clicking on the relevant category, a filtering panel appears at the top of the page, where you can narrow down the offer by neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly find bottles, jars, pharma bottles or other containers that will match the desired design and the technical requirements of your formulation.
