The clear plastic jar with white lid represents a practical and universal solution for packaging various cosmetic and craft products. The transparent container allows easy visual inspection of the contents, making it suitable for clear storage as well as for product presentation. Closing with a solid lid helps protect the contents from impurities and excessive air exposure, which supports the stability and longer shelf life of the mixture or finished product.
This clear jar is suitable for packaging both thicker and loose formulations – from creams and butters to powder blends, salts or scrubs. Thanks to the durable plastic material, it is well suited for home cosmetics, artisanal production and for preparing products for sale in smaller batches. With its clean appearance, it looks professional and can be easily combined with various types of labelling and the visual identity of a brand.
This jar is supplied as a complete container with lid, so it is a ready-made packaging and closure solution suitable for immediate filling and use. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

You can reuse the jar if you follow hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to wash the container thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Disinfection helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and contributes to the stability of your cosmetic products.
We recommend cleaning the jar with lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and a soft sponge or brush. Then rinse it thoroughly, let it dry and, before the next filling, disinfect it with an alcohol solution. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents, abrasive tools and exposure to very high temperatures to prevent premature wear or possible deformation of the plastic.
Store the filled jar in a dry place, at room temperature and away from direct sunlight. It is important that the lid is always tightly closed, which limits the access of air and dust. If you work with more sensitive cosmetic formulations, we recommend keeping them in a stable environment without significant temperature fluctuations, which supports their longer shelf life and preservation of quality.
If you decide not to continue using the jar, we recommend emptying it, removing product residues and placing the cleaned jar in sorted waste according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Follow local waste-sorting rules – most plastic packaging belongs in the container designated for plastics. By sorting correctly, you enable its recycling and reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
