Glass bottle – dropper bottle with matte surface and black dropper provides a professional solution for packaging sensitive liquid formulations where precise drop‑by‑drop application is important. Thanks to the combination of high‑quality glass and a practical dropper, the packaging is suitable for cosmetic serums, concentrated blends and aromatherapeutic products. The matte glass in a dark shade helps limit light exposure to the contents, thereby supporting the stability of active ingredients during storage and use.
The glass bottle – dropper bottle is listed on Handymade among professional cosmetic packaging and is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle – dropper bottle is also suitable for formulations containing essential oils, provided the composition is formulated in line with the recommendations of raw material suppliers. Glass provides a good barrier against volatile substances and the dropper allows drop‑by‑drop dosing. Before launching the finished product, we always recommend performing your own stability and compatibility test with the specific blend of essential oils.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination, residues of the previous product and impact on the stability of the new formulation.
Before the first filling, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution, then with clean water (depending on the nature of the planned contents) and allowing it to dry completely in a clean environment. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface with an alcohol solution, for example using IPA 99% or Ethanol 96% denatured. The same procedure is advisable for preparing the dropper, while avoiding mechanical damage to the rubber or plastic parts.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material indicated in the product parameters. As a rule, the glass bottle can be disposed of in the container designated for glass once product residues have been removed. The dropper, consisting of several components (glass, plastic, rubber), should be dismantled into individual parts and sorted according to local waste collection rules, or placed in mixed waste if local conditions do not allow detailed sorting. Always adapt the specific recycling method to the instructions of your local collection system and to the information provided with the product on Handymade.
The most effective way to choose is to use the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category (for example bottles, dropper bottles or jars). In the advanced filter you can conveniently combine several criteria at once – neck type, packaging size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly narrow the selection down to only those packages that match the technical requirements of your product and the visual style of your brand.
