The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each filling, we recommend thoroughly mechanically cleaning the bottle, closure and dropper insert (rinsing, possibly a mild cleaning agent) and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, leave all parts to dry completely at room temperature in a clean place and only then fill the bottle.

The glass medicine bottle is suitable for repeated use as long as you strictly follow the cleaning and disinfection procedure between individual fillings. For hygiene reasons, we recommend that one specific packaging is used long-term for the same type of product (for example always the same cosmetic oil or serum). Before each new filling, the bottle, dropper insert and closure must be cleaned and disinfected with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and residues of the previous contents.

For oil-based and thicker formulations, dose the contents with the bottle in a vertical position so that the dropper insert works evenly. We recommend first testing the outflow rate on a small sample, or slightly adjusting the viscosity of the recipe (for example by adding a suitable diluent within the recipe), so that the drops flow out smoothly. For very thick blends it may be more practical to choose packaging with another type of dispensing, for example a pump or a dropper pipette. Before final use always check the functionality of the dosing with the specific formulation.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, to recycle it according to the types of materials given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can generally be thrown into the container intended for glass, while the plastic or rubber parts and any metal components of the dropper insert must be sorted according to the local waste collection rules. Before recycling, remove residues of the contents, labels and separate the packaging into individual materials so that sorting is as efficient as possible.
