Glass bottle – matte brown pharmaceutical bottle with glossy black-gold dispenser represents an elegant yet functional packaging solution suitable for various cosmetic preparations as well as concentrated blends. The dark glass helps to limit light penetration to the sensitive contents, thereby supporting their stability during storage. Combined with a precise dispensing mechanism, it allows comfortable and hygienic application even for less viscous liquids or serums.
This type of bottle is popular for packaging products where control over the amount of preparation applied, a professional appearance, and reliable protection against external influences are important. A suitably chosen combination of material, shape and dispensing creates practical packaging for both home and professional formulations.
This glass bottle is supplied in combination with a functional dispenser designed to ensure convenient and reliable application of the contents. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the behaviour of the dispensing mechanism, and the stability of the materials in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil content, active ingredients or alcohol).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle with dispenser is suitable for most cosmetic formulations based on oil or for less viscous emulsions. Glass is a material with good chemical stability, which is why it is often preferred for products with a higher content of active substances. Nevertheless, for each new formulation we recommend carrying out a trial filling to verify the compatibility of the contents with the dispenser, the sealing and long-term storage.
The packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before refilling, the bottle and dispenser must be emptied as thoroughly as possible, mechanically cleaned and washed carefully. We then recommend disinfecting the inner space and the surface, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose. In the Handymade range, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to evaporate and, before refilling, check that no residue of the original product remains in the packaging.
For formulations such as serums and oil elixirs, it is advantageous to work with a consistency that passes well through the dispenser – overly thick or gel-like textures can reduce dispensing comfort. It is recommended to first fill a smaller trial amount and test the dispensing over several applications. If necessary, you can adjust the viscosity of the formulation (for example the ratio of oils to lighter components) so that the product is dispensed smoothly and evenly.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle should be freed from product residues and placed in a container intended for glass. The dispenser and any plastic or metal components must be sorted according to local rules for recycling plastics and metals. Before disposal, always minimise the amount of product residue in the packaging so as not to place unnecessary burden on the collection and recycling system.
To make selection easier, you can use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, pharmaceutical bottles or cosmetic packaging), you will find the filter at the top of the page. As needed, you can select parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour or material. By combining several filters, you will quickly narrow down the selection to the packaging that best matches the character of your product and the visual style of your brand.
