Medical-type glass bottle represents a professional packaging ideal for precise dosing and safe storage of various liquid preparations. Thanks to its robust laboratory design, it is suitable for formulations where the stability of the contents, purity and reliable closure are important. The combination of durable glass and a child-resistant cap reduces the risk of accidental opening and supports convenience when used in home as well as professional production.
Glass packaging is generally considered a very stable and inert material, therefore it is also suitable for more concentrated solutions and formulations with active substances. However, for each new formulation we recommend performing your own compatibility test – filling a small amount of product, monitoring the behaviour of the contents over time and verifying the sealing of the child-resistant cap during normal handling.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured of plant origin. Only after thorough drying is the packaging ready for new use. In case of significant wear, damage to the thread or closure, we recommend taking the packaging out of use and replacing it with a new one.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to recycle it in accordance with the recommendations given in the product specifications. The glass part of the bottle, once emptied and rinsed, is normally placed in the appropriate glass collection according to local rules. The closure and any plastic or other components must be sorted according to their material and the relevant recycling symbol indicated for the product. Before placing in sorted waste, we recommend removing product residues and thereby minimizing contamination of the sorted material.
The child-resistant cap helps to reduce the risk of unintentional opening, but it does not replace standard safety measures during storage. Bottles with concentrated preparations, oils or other more sensitive formulations must always be kept out of reach of children and pets, ideally in a dry and cooler place. During handling, we recommend paying attention to thoroughly tightening the closure and regularly checking the sealing.
