Glass cosmetic tester with transparent top is a practical mini container, ideal for sampling and precise dosing of smaller amounts of products. Thanks to its accurate volume and transparent cap, it enables clear visibility of the fill level and an elegant presentation of the contents. High-quality glass is a stable and proven material for cosmetic formulations that does not interfere with the fragrance, colour or texture of the product and is suitable for packaging both liquid and slightly viscous preparations.
This tester makes it easier to create professional samples for customers, as well as to take test batches during formula development. In combination with a suitable closure or dispensing component, it provides a reliable and hygienic packaging solution for laboratory, artisan and semi-professional use.
Glass testers are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of containers and closures that have been created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (seal, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass tester is generally suitable for most common cosmetic formulations based on water or oil. For products with a very high content of alcohols, acids or specific actives, we recommend performing a compatibility test before final filling – first fill a small amount and observe the behaviour of the packaging and the contents over time. Always follow the recommendations of raw material suppliers and your internal stability tests.
The container can be reused provided hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the vial must be mechanically cleaned, thoroughly rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill it, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or dilution of the product.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend recycling it as a priority. After emptying and basic cleaning of any product residues, dispose of the glass vial in the collection container designated for glass, according to local waste sorting rules. Sort the closure or dispensing component according to the material specified in the product parameters. In the case of heavier soiling by the contents, first consider mechanical cleaning to minimise the load on the recycling process.
The glass tester is primarily intended for short- to medium-term use, for example when sampling for customers, testing formulas or taking control samples. For long-term storage, it is necessary to consider the nature of the product, its preservation system and the storage conditions (temperature, light, humidity). We always recommend regularly checking the appearance, odour and consistency of the stored product and following your internal stability standards.
The simplest solution is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material category. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the advanced filtering at the top of the page, where you can select a combination of parameters according to your needs – for example neck type, size, colour or packaging material. This will quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, jars or medicine bottles that are suitable for your specific product and dosing method.
