Glass cosmetic tester with transparent top 2 ml is a practical mini packaging suitable for professional testing and dispensing of smaller amounts of cosmetic products. Thanks to its precise shape and high-quality workmanship, this glass tester is ideal for filling liquid as well as slightly thicker formulations, where control of purity, stability and a representative appearance of the product are important. The transparent glass allows for simple visual control of the contents and supports high‑quality presentation in salons, retail stores and during sampling.
The glass tester bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters on the product pages. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – focusing on sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil phase, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass cosmetic tester is generally suitable for oil‑based and water‑based cosmetic products, provided the formulation composition is compatible with the packaging. Before final filling, we recommend preparing a trial sample, monitoring the stability of the product over time and checking whether there are any changes in colour, fragrance or viscosity. For products with a higher proportion of alcohol or active substances, the compatibility test is particularly important.
Before the first filling, we recommend removing dust and impurities from the packaging and then disinfecting it. After mechanical cleaning, it is appropriate to apply disinfection using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After disinfection, allow the bottle to air out thoroughly and dry at room temperature and only then fill it with the final product.
The glass tester can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, ideally always for the same or a similar type of product. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, residues of the original contents removed, and then disinfected using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % ethanol denatured plant‑based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and unwanted interactions between the original and the new formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. First empty the glass bottle, remove any remaining contents and rinse the packaging so that no cosmetic residues remain. Then place it in the collection container designated for glass according to local waste‑sorting rules. Dispose of the closure and any plastic parts according to the material type specified in the product parameters on the website, separating them from the glass. In this way you ensure correct recycling of the individual materials.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter in the packaging categories on the website. After clicking on a specific category (for example bottles, jars or dispensers), you will find at the top of the page the option to filter according to several parameters. You can clearly sort the products by neck type, size, colour and material, which makes it easier to choose compatible combinations of packaging and closures for your specific product.
