TEGOFEEL C 10 is a natural alternative to microplastics for removing excess oil from the skin. It is a powdered form of white cellulose without chemical modifications or other treatments. It is obtained from wood pulp, mainly beech and larch.

The main advantage of TEGOFEEL C 10 in cosmetic products is its ability to absorb oils well, thus helping to reduce shine and the appearance of oily skin. In addition to its mattifying effects, it improves the application properties of various products containing fats and oils, as it helps to reduce their greasy feel on the skin and accelerate the absorption of these products into the skin.

TEGOFEEL C 10 is compatible with both water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions and can also be used in anhydrous (pure oil) products.

TEGOFEEL C 10 finds its application mainly in natural cosmetics, skin creams, body and sun cosmetics (sun and after-sun products).

At the same time, TEGOFEEL C 10 is certified Halal and Cosmos, it is a vegan raw material. Renewable energy has also been used in the production of TEGOFEEL C 10. TEGOFEEL C 10 is non-toxic to aquatic organisms and biodegradable.

Directions for use:

• When adding TEGOFEEL C 10 to oil-in-water emulsions (the mixture is dominated by aqueous components), mix TEGOFEEL C 10 into the aqueous phase; it is also possible to add TEGOFEEL C 10 to the heated oil phase, or only after the emulsion has been formed, when the temperature of the mixture has dropped to approx. 40 °C.
• For water-in-oil emulsions (oil components dominate the mixture), TEGOFEEL C 10 is added as the last ingredient to the heated oil phase. Alternatively, you can add TEGOFEEL C 10 immediately after mixing the water and oil phases, before mixing (homogenizing) the mixture.
• When using TEGOFEEL C 10 in anhydrous products, mix TEGOFEEL C 10 with the other powder ingredients first and then add them together to the liquid ingredients (oils). Then stir the mixture vigorously and thoroughly.

Dosage:

• 1-3% in oil-in-water (O/W) and water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions (higher concentrations may destabilize the emulsion due to the ability of the cellulose fibers to bind water to themselves)
• 5 - 20% in anhydrous (pure oil) products
