The transparent milky glass bottle with aluminium cap is a universal packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid and slightly viscous preparations where cleanliness, stability and a professional appearance of the final product are important. The transparent milky glass allows visual control of the contents while looking elegant and enhancing the perceived value of the packaged product. In combination with a metal closure, it becomes a reliable, aesthetic and practical bottle for cosmetics, aromatherapy and laboratory formulations.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or essential oil content).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be reused provided you follow basic hygiene rules. Before each refilling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use products available on Handymade, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the container to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill it with a new product.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend cleaning it from any residual contents and recycling it according to the material stated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass, while the metal aluminium cap belongs with metals (according to local waste collection rules). Always check the product parameters before recycling to be sure which type of collection container the individual packaging components belong to.
Glass packaging is generally very well tolerated by formulations containing essential oils, aromatic substances or alcohol, because glass is chemically stable and does not react with most common cosmetic raw materials. Nevertheless, we recommend performing a stability test for each new formula – filling a small volume of the product into the bottle, observing any changes in fragrance, colour or viscosity, and verifying whether the selected type of cap or dropper seals and doses correctly.
When filling cosmetics into the glass medicine bottle, make sure that the packaging is clean, disinfected and completely dry. Fill the product at the temperature recommended by your formula to prevent condensation from forming on the walls and under the cap. After filling, close the bottle tightly and store it in a dry, cooler and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. This will support the stability of the fragrance, colour and texture of the stored preparations and extend their usability.
On Handymade you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can quickly choose packaging according to key parameters – for example, the type of neck, desired size, colour or material. This makes it easy to find a suitable bottle, medicine bottle, jar or dispenser for a specific formula or product line and to conveniently compare several options within a single category.
