Yes, the bottle is designed as a universal container for various types of liquid formulations, including oil-based and water-based solutions intended for external use. When filling, we always recommend carrying out a trial compatibility test of your specific formulation with the packaging, in order to verify the sealing of the closure, the stability of the contents and the behaviour of the material during long-term storage.
The packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol from the range IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Disinfection helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of your products.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend as a first step to empty it as much as possible and remove any remaining contents according to the nature of the substance used. Then follow the information about the material given in the parameter table on the product page and sort the bottle into the appropriate container in line with local recycling rules. The metal cap should preferably be sorted separately into metal collection, and the plastic body of the bottle into plastic collection. In this way you support effective recycling of materials and reduce the amount of waste.
The dark design of the packaging helps to reduce light penetration to the contents, which can be an advantage for formulations sensitive to light exposure, such as certain extracts, aromatic blends or products with a higher proportion of volatile components. Nevertheless, we recommend storing such products away from direct sunlight and under stable temperature conditions in order to maintain their quality throughout their shelf life.
