Glass bottle – medicine bottle with aluminum cap represents a professional solution for packaging liquid as well as powdered preparations where cleanliness, stability and a representative appearance of the packaging are important. High‑quality glass in combination with a precise closure ensures reliable protection of the contents and convenient handling for home and artisan production of cosmetics or supplements.
This type of packaging is ideal for products where you need precise dosing, easy storage and good protection against external influences. The bottle is suitable for water‑based, oil‑based and alcohol solutions depending on compatibility with the specific formulation and the chosen type of closure.
The glass bottle – medicine bottle itself is compatible with various types of closures and dosing (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
When choosing a suitable bottle and closure, we recommend checking the type of neck, recommended use and material composition on the product sheet. This data will help you design a packaging solution that will correspond to the viscosity, sensitivity and method of application of your product.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the closure and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the usability of your cosmetic products.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically washing the bottle, rinsing it thoroughly with drinking water and letting it dry completely. Then disinfect the inner space and the thread with an alcohol solution (for example using a sprayer or by rinsing), which you then let evaporate. You can use the same procedure when reusing the packaging, while it is important that the packaging is completely dry and free of residues of cleaning agents before filling.
When filling, it is advisable to work in the cleanest possible environment and use clean tools in order to minimize the risk of contamination. Do not overfill the bottle so that the closure fits well and leaks do not occur. When storing, follow the recommendations for the specific formulation – in general, it is recommended to keep products in a dry place, protect them from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures that could affect the stability of the composition.
If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend recycling it after emptying and basic cleaning in accordance with local waste‑sorting rules and the material data given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass, the metal aluminum cap in sorted metal waste, if this is supported in your municipality. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to remove product residues and separate the individual parts of the packaging so that the recycling process is as efficient as possible.
When choosing a suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Thanks to the filter, you can clearly select parameters according to your needs – especially the type of neck, size, colour and material of the packaging. Filtering will help you quickly narrow down the range to bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other containers that will best correspond to the character of your product and the planned method of dosing.
Yes, the medicine‑bottle shape is very practical for smaller trial batches, stability tests or taking reference samples. It enables easy labelling, comparison of different formulations and monitoring changes of the product over time. Thanks to compatibility with various types of closures, you can test different methods of application with the same packaging – from a dropper, through a classic screw cap to a sprayer, depending on what the specific product requires.
