For more viscous oils, we recommend first testing the dripping speed on a small trial batch and, based on the result, possibly choosing another type of closure or dosing system. Always observe whether the dropper allows a smooth outflow without excessive pressure.

At first opening, the closure with dropper is firmly connected to the tamper-evident ring. Simply unscrew the closure in the same way as a standard cap. During the first opening, the tamper-evident ring separates and remains on the neck of the bottle. This visually signals that the pack has already been opened. During further use, you can screw and unscrew the closure as usual; the tamper-evident ring remains on the neck and does not interfere with use.

The dropper can be reused as long as it is in good technical condition and you adhere to basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling of the bottle, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the dropper, rinsing it with a suitable medium and then disinfecting it, for example using isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol of plant origin. Only after thorough drying is it appropriate to use the dropper again, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and impact on the stability of the new product.

If you no longer wish to use the dropper, we recommend that, after emptying and basic cleaning, you place it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters for the given packaging on the Handymade website. In the case of residues of strongly aromatic or specific substances, it is advisable to minimise product residues by rinsing so as not to disrupt the recycling process.
