White dropper with tamper-evident ring is a practical closure designed for precise dosing of liquid products into small bottles and vials. Thanks to the construction of the dropper, it enables controlled, gentle and repeatable dosing, which is ideal for formulations where precise, drop-by-drop application is important. The tamper-evident ring provides additional protection of the contents during transport and storage and helps keep the packaging safely closed.
Place the dropper vertically onto the neck of a clean and dry bottle and tighten it evenly until you feel slight resistance and the tamper-evident ring is fixed under the thread. After the first firm tightening, the tamper-evident ring separates upon opening, creating visual proof of first opening. It is important not to force the closure by over-tightening, so as not to damage the thread or the dropper. For more viscous formulations we recommend testing the dosing on a small sample to check that the drop flow meets your requirements.
The dropper can be used repeatedly as long as you follow basic hygiene principles and the material is not mechanically damaged. Before each new filling, the dropper and the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with an appropriate agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to evaporate completely and only then refill the packaging, so as not to affect the stability or fragrance of the final product.
You can verify the compatibility of the dropper with your formulation by a short practical test. First fill a smaller amount of product into the bottle, attach the dropper and leave the packaging for several days under conditions similar to real use (temperature, handling). Observe whether the dropper seals properly, whether there is any leakage around the thread and whether the drops flow smoothly at the required angle. For formulations with a higher content of oils or solvents, it is important to verify long-term contact with the material as well, to ensure that no softening, discolouration or deformation of the dropper parts occurs.
First, mechanically remove residues of the previous product by rinsing with a suitable medium (for example a plant oil for oil blends or a mild soapy solution for aqueous formulations). Then rinse the dropper thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry. Before refilling, the dropper and the bottle must be disinfected – we recommend using agents such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Apply the disinfectant in a thin layer, let it act and evaporate completely. Only then use the packaging again, so as not to affect the consistency or sensory properties of the new product.
If you decide not to use the dropper any further, we recommend removing any product residues before disposal in order to minimise environmental impact. Adapt the recycling method to the material indicated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website – according to the specified plastic type or material combination, then place it in the appropriate sorted waste stream. If the dropper consists of a combination of different materials that cannot be easily separated, it is advisable to proceed according to the recommendations of the local waste collection system and follow the instructions for mixed or problematic packaging.
To select a suitable bottle, closure or dropper, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can conveniently filter by neck type, size, colour and packaging material. In this way you can easily narrow the offer down to only compatible and relevant options for you, which you can then practically test in your own formulations.
