Glass bottle – medicine bottle with white-gold spray pump 50 ml is an elegant and functional packaging for cosmetic and artisanal formulations where gentle and even misting of the contents is important. Thanks to high-quality glass and a precise spray pump, it is suitable for filling liquid products that require hygienic, comfortable and economical dosing directly onto the skin or into the air. Yes, the packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and the spray pump in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection it is suitable to use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you will find in the range as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly and only then refill.
The spray pump is a sensitive mechanical component, therefore we do not recommend disassembling it into more parts than absolutely necessary. After the contents have been used up, you can rinse the mechanism with warm (not boiling) water, possibly with a small amount of mild soap, then spray through several times with clean water and finally disinfect with a suitable alcohol. After disinfection, allow the components to dry well. For more viscous or oily formulations, it is important to check whether the nozzle is not becoming clogged and, if necessary, shorten the cleaning interval.
The bottle with spray pump is primarily intended for aqueous and low-viscosity formulations such as hydrolats, toners, light serums, aromatherapeutic and refreshing sprays. Thick emulsions, gel preparations or products with a high proportion of undissolved particles may cause irregular spraying or clogging of the nozzle. Before placing the product on the market, we therefore recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in this packaging – both in the short term and during longer storage.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the types of materials listed in the product parameters. The glass part should, after rinsing and removal of any remaining contents, be placed in a container for sorted glass waste (green or white according to local rules). The spray pump consists of several materials (plastic, metal spring) which are usually sorted differently from glass, so do not place it in the glass container. We recommend following local waste-sorting guidelines and the information given with the product so that recycling is as effective as possible.
Yes, the smaller-volume glass bottle with spray pump is very practical for samples, test batches and limited editions of spray products. It enables convenient dosing in real usage conditions, so you obtain relevant feedback on consistency, fragrance, mode of application and comfort during use. For test batches we recommend labelling the bottles with the batch number and filling date and, in case of repeated use, always ensuring thorough cleaning and disinfection before refilling.
