Combining with closures and dispensers

This dropper is intended to be combined with compatible bottles and medicine bottles available in the Handymade range. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – focusing on sealing, smoothness and accuracy of dosing, and the behaviour of the selected bottle and dropper material in contact with the specific formulation.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this dropper suitable for more viscous oils or only for very thin solutions?

The dropper is designed for dosing liquid and oil-based preparations with normal viscosity, which can be comfortably dosed drop by drop. For more viscous oils or highly viscous serums, we recommend first testing the flow rate and smoothness of dripping on a small sample of the product, so that you are sure that dosing is comfortable and precise for the given formulation.

How should I properly clean the dropper before first use and when reusing the bottle?

The dropper can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the entire dropper and the corresponding bottle, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol, for example with IPA or ethanol products available in the Handymade range (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol, ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). After thorough drying, you can refill the packaging and use it safely.

How should I correctly fit the dropper onto the bottle so that it seals well and there are no leaks?

Always combine the dropper only with bottles with a compatible neck type specified in the product parameters. After inserting the drop part into the neck of the bottle, screw the upper part of the closure on evenly and tighten it firmly, but without excessive force, so that the thread or sealing elements are not damaged. Before placing the packaging on sale or into use, we recommend performing a leakage test – turn the filled bottle several times upside down and shake it gently to check whether the contents are seeping out anywhere.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the dropper if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to reuse the dropper or the entire packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the information about the material given in the parameter table at the product. The individual parts (plastic, any metal elements, glass bottle) should be separated before handing them over for sorted collection, emptied of any residual contents and, according to local rules, placed in the appropriate container. By following the recommended recycling procedures, you reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of materials.
