Glossy black dropper cap 53 mm is a functional and aesthetic closure designed for precise dosing of liquid products into various types of bottles and vials. Thanks to the integrated dropper insert, it enables controlled dripping, thereby minimizing the risk of spillage and ensuring professional application in both home and artisanal production.
This type of closure is popular for packaging cosmetic, aromatherapeutic and technical formulations where an accurate dose and protection of the contents against contamination are crucial. The dropper cap helps maintain the consistency of your products, increases user comfort and supports safe storage of more sensitive liquids.
This dropper cap is intended to be combined with compatible bottles and vials according to the selected neck type in the product parameters. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The compatibility of the dropper cap with a bottle or vial depends on the neck type and matching closure parameters. First, check the thread type in the parameters of your bottle and then compare the data with the parameters of the dropper cap. It is recommended to purchase and test a smaller quantity so that you can verify the sealing, the smoothness of dripping and the behaviour of the specific formulation during dosing.
The dropper cap can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, but ideally always for the same type of product to avoid unwanted mixing of fragrances, colours or active substances. Before each refilling, the dropper cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using suitable disinfectants such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can also use products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based, always according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and the nature of the filled product.
The cleaning procedure depends on the type of filling, but in general it is recommended to first carry out mechanical rinsing with a suitable solvent (for example oil with oil or an aqueous solution with water), then use a mild cleaning agent and finally rinse thoroughly. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect the dropper cap, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and let it dry completely. Before reuse, check the functionality of the dropper insert and the sealing on a test sample.

If you decide not to use the dropper cap any longer, it is recommended that after thorough emptying and cleaning you place it in sorted waste according to the material type specified in the product parameter table on the Handymade website. Plastic parts are usually placed in plastic collection, and any other materials must be sorted according to local waste management rules. Before recycling, remove any remaining filling in order to facilitate subsequent processing and reduce the environmental burden.
