The essential oils category offers a wide selection of pure, 100% natural essential oils intended for cosmetics, aromatherapy and home wellness products. Essential oils are obtained by steam distillation or cold pressing in the highest possible quality. They are used in soaps, creams, body oils, shampoos, massage blends and diffusers. The range includes pack sizes from 5 ml up to 500 ml – suitable for home crafting as well as for professional cosmetic production.
Each oil comes with complete documentation including SDS (Safety Data Sheet), Test Report (analytical certificate), IFRA and a list of allergens. The dosage for cosmetic use is always in accordance with the recommendations stated in the IFRA document.
Each essential oil has specific properties that influence the body and the mind. Citrus oils refresh and have a positive effect on the mood, floral oils contribute to relaxation and harmony, herbal and woody have cleansing and grounding effects, while earthy and resinous scents induce a feeling of calm balance.
Essential oils are used in low concentrations, yet they bring a noticeable effect in cosmetic formulations. They are added to soaps, creams, balms, face masks, massage blends and candles. In aromatherapy they are used in diffusers and inhalations to release tension and support breathing.
Essential oils are highly concentrated natural substances, therefore they must be used in the recommended dosage according to the IFRA document (usually 0.5–3%). Store them in tightly closed dark glass bottles and in a cool place without access of light so that they retain their aroma and active components.
With proper storage, essential oils retain their properties for several years. The length of maintaining fragrance intensity depends on the type of oil – top notes evaporate more quickly, middle notes have balanced longevity and base notes last the longest.
