Black-gold dropper 44 mm is an elegant dispensing closure designed for precise and comfortable application of liquid formulations. In combination with a suitable bottle, it creates a professional packaging system that is ideal for filling serums, oils, extracts or concentrated blends, where controlled drop-by-drop dosing is important. Thanks to high-quality workmanship, it helps protect the contents against contamination and minimizes the risk of undesirable spillage during use and storage.
This type of dropper is intended for use with compatible bottles with a corresponding neck type according to the product parameters. Within the Handymade range, various glass and plastic bottles are available, with which a coherent and functional packaging system can be created. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a higher alcohol content, essential oils or for non-standard formulations.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. Before final implementation in production, we recommend performing a trial filling and a sealing test under conditions that resemble real use and storage as closely as possible.
Compatibility of the dropper with the bottle is determined by the type and diameter of the neck, which you will find in the parameters of both products. When selecting, we recommend comparing the data in the parameter table and giving preference to combinations that are listed directly as recommended on Handymade. Before implementation in production, always carry out a trial screwing-on and a sealing test with the real formulation to verify correct functionality and dosing.
The dropper can be reused if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the dropper and the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of a quality suitable for surface disinfection. Within the Handymade range you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After thorough drying and airing, the dropper is ready for further use.
Before first use and between individual batches, we recommend mechanically cleaning the dropper appropriately from any impurities, rinsing it with a suitable medium (for example distilled water or a compatible solvent) and then disinfecting it. For disinfection, alcoholic disinfectant solutions can be used, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in an appropriate dilution according to your internal hygiene procedures. After disinfection, allow all parts of the dropper to dry thoroughly so that moisture does not remain trapped in the dispensing part, which could affect the stability of the product.
If you decide not to use the dropper and the related bottle any longer, we recommend giving preference to recycling over general waste. The method of sorting depends on the material composition of the individual parts, which you will find in the parameter table of the specific product on Handymade. Glass parts (for example the bottle) are usually sorted into a glass container, plastic and rubber components of the dropper generally belong in sorted plastic waste according to the recommendations of your local collection system. Before placing into sorted waste, it is advisable to roughly rinse or wipe the packaging so that no residues of products with a high content of oils or aromatic substances remain in it.

In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several criteria at once – for example the type and diameter of the neck, the size, colour or material of the packaging. In this way you quickly narrow the offer down only to packaging that is suitable for your specific product and then more easily select compatible closures, droppers or spray heads for them.
