The glass bottle with spray pump is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling liquid cosmetic products, cleaning solutions and homemade mixtures. Durable glass provides a stable environment for formulations and helps preserve their properties, fragrance and consistency over the long term. The practical spray pump enables convenient and even dosing directly onto the skin, hair, textiles or a surface, depending on the type of product.
The glass pharmaceutical bottle combined with a high-quality mechanical spray pump is suitable for products where gentle, controlled application without contact with the contents is important. Closing with the spray pump minimises the access of air and impurities, which is advantageous for active ingredients and sensitive formulations.
This glass bottle is supplied in combination with a functional spray pump that is adapted to its neck and intended use. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first filling, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle, checking the cleanliness of the inner surface and the thread, and then disinfecting it with a suitable product. For disinfection you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in our range as the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then fill it with the selected product.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused with proper care. It is important to follow basic hygiene principles – after the contents have been used up, empty the bottle, clean it mechanically and, before each refilling, always disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. We also recommend rinsing the dip tube and the spray head to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material marking given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be sorted into the glass container after emptying and basic cleaning of product residues. The spray pump consists of a combination of plastic components that are normally sorted according to the type of plastic – follow the symbol and the recommendation in the parameter table next to the product on the Handymade website. Before placing it in sorted waste, always make sure that there are no larger residues of chemical substances or concentrated mixtures left in the packaging.
First check whether the spray pump is screwed on correctly and whether the dip tube is not kinked or too long. We then recommend flushing the mechanism with clean water or a suitable diluent that is compatible with your formulation (for example water or alcohol) to remove any deposits. More viscous or highly oily products can reduce spray quality – in such a case, consider adjusting the formula or using a different type of closure. With long-term use, slight wear of the mechanism is natural; then it is advisable to replace the spray pump with a new piece with a matching neck size.
For quick and precise search of suitable packaging, use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter you can combine several parameters at once – for example the type and diameter of the neck, the overall size and shape of the packaging, the colour of the material and the material used (glass, plastic, etc.). In this way you can easily choose a bottle, jar or pharmaceutical bottle that will best match your product as well as the technical requirements for filling and storage.
