Always use the dropper with a compatible bottle or vial that you have filled with the selected product. After thoroughly closing, gently turn the packaging upside down, press the upper part of the dropper and, after releasing, let the pipette fill. Then drip the contents directly onto the desired area or into a measuring vessel as needed. While working, avoid contact of the pipette with the skin or other surfaces in order to minimize the risk of contamination of the contents in the container.

You can reuse the dropper when working with the same or a similar type of product, always while observing strict hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the dropper, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extends the usability of your formulations. When switching to a completely different type of product (e.g. from oil-based to water-based), we recommend using a new dropper to prevent transfer of residues of the original contents.

Always clean the dropper according to the type of product you have been dosing. For oil serums and more oily preparations we recommend first mechanical cleaning and then thorough rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution and disinfecting alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol). After cleaning, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. After drying, check that the pipette is not clogged and that the rubber or plastic part of the dropper properly draws in and releases the liquid without unwanted leakage.

If you decide not to reuse the dropper, we recommend disposing of it in accordance with local waste sorting rules based on the material listed in the product parameters. First remove as much of the remaining product as possible from the pipette and the closure, wiping them if necessary with a paper towel. Then separate the individual parts (for example the plastic and rubber part, if possible) and sort them according to the instructions of your collection company.
