The dropper is designed for common cosmetic oils, serums and liquids with low to medium viscosity, for which smooth dropwise dosing can be achieved. For very thick formulations we recommend testing dosing on a smaller amount and, depending on the result, adjusting the consistency or choosing a more suitable type of closure with a different dosing method.

We recommend filling the bottle so that there is free space between the product level and the dropper, which allows comfortable suction of the liquid into the pipette. After filling, tighten the closure firmly and test suction and release of drops several times. In the case of very fast dripping you can hold the bottle slightly at an angle; for slower dosing it is appropriate to regulate the pressure on the rubber part.

The dropper can be used repeatedly with the same type of product if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling we recommend cleaning and disinfecting the packaging component to prevent transfer of residues of the previous formulation and microbial contamination. For disinfection you can use, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. When switching to a completely different type of product (for example from oil-based to water-based) always consider using a new dropper.

Before repeated use it is appropriate to disassemble the dropper into individual parts to the extent allowed by the design and thoroughly remove product residues with a suitable cleaning agent according to the formulation type (oil-based or water-based). We then recommend applying disinfection using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, let it evaporate and only then use the component again. It is important to avoid aggressive cleaning methods that could impair the functionality of the drop mechanism.

If you decide not to reuse the dropper, we recommend disposing of it according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. Follow the stated material composition and sorting according to local rules for recycling packaging materials. Before discarding, it is appropriate to remove product residues to facilitate further handling in the recycling process. If the material composition allows it, sort the individual parts of the dropper by material type into the appropriate collection containers.
