Green Glass Bottle, Glossy Gold Black Pump With Clear Overcap, 10 ml

This green glass bottle with a black and gold pump is a ready-made set for serums, facial and eye oils and light emulsions in a small pack. The 10 ml volume is enough for concentrated products applied in drops, for customer samples or for travel packs. The green glass partly filters light, while the fill level remains visible.

The pump with a glossy black and gold finish dispenses the same dose with every press, so the product is not dosed by guesswork and you do not need to reach into the bottle with your fingers. The clear overcap protects the pump head from dust and prevents accidental pressing in a bag or during transport. The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics and is intended for cosmetic use.

What the set is suitable for

• Facial and eye serums – liquid to slightly thick serums are dispensed in drops, and one press corresponds to a small area.
• Facial and nail oils – the pump replaces the dropper, so the oil is applied cleanly and does not run down the neck.
• Light emulsions and fluids – thin creams and lotions pass through the tube without problems, while a thick consistency blocks them.

How the dispensing works

One press of the pump dispenses approximately 0.3 ml, so a full nominal volume gives roughly thirty doses. When using it for the first time, press the pump several times to prime it until the tube and head fill and the product starts to come out smoothly. With thicker products, the volume of a single dose may differ slightly.

The pump tube is longer than the height of the bottle requires. Before the first filling, shorten it with a diagonal cut so that it ends just above the bottom. A diagonal cut prevents the end of the tube from sticking to the glass and stopping the pump from drawing up the product.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed for in normal filling. The total brimful volume is the physical volume up to the neck and you will find it in the parameters. The difference between them is a reserve for the tube and the body of the pump, which take up part of the space once screwed on, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. Fill only up to the nominal volume. If you filled it to the brim, the contents would be pushed out through the neck when the pump is screwed on.

Good to know

Before the first filling, we recommend washing the glass, disinfecting it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and letting it dry completely. Moisture in the packaging reduces the stability of the finished product and increases the risk of contamination in emulsions. The pump is cleaned by rinsing with clean water or alcohol. However, dried-on contents cannot be removed from it completely, so for sensitive products that are refilled we recommend using a new one.

Do not fill the glass with hot contents and then cool it quickly. Emulsions and creams are filled only after they have cooled to room temperature, otherwise water will condense in the closed bottle. The pump combines polypropylene and aluminium. For products with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend checking how the pump behaves with your specific formulation.

For recycling, the pump is unscrewed and discarded separately. The glass goes in glass recycling, while the pump is composite packaging made of plastic and aluminium.
