FAQ – Most frequent questions

Is this dropper suitable for thicker oils or only for thin liquids?

The dropper is primarily intended for dosing common liquid and oil formulations with low to medium viscosity. For very thick oils or gel-like consistencies, we recommend carrying out a test filling to verify the smoothness of dripping and the overall comfort of application. If necessary, it is appropriate to adjust the recipe or choose another type of closure with an adapted dosing system.

How should I correctly fit the dropper onto the bottle so that it seals well and does not leak?

Always fit the dropper onto a clean and dry thread of the bottle or medicine bottle. The closure must be tightened firmly but without excessive force so that the thread or sealing elements are not damaged. After filling and closing, we recommend performing a leak test – gently turn the bottle upside down and check whether the product is leaking in the area of the neck or the drop opening.

Can I reuse the dropper for several fillings of the same bottle?

The dropper can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the dropper and the bottle, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely so that there is no dilution or influence on your formulation.

How should I correctly dispose of or recycle the dropper and the rest of the packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters for the specific bottle and dropper. Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to empty the packaging and remove any remaining contents. The individual parts of the packaging (for example glass bottle, plastic or metal components of the closure) are sorted according to local waste collection rules. Always follow the recycling symbols and material designation in the parameter table so that the raw materials are correctly assigned for collection.
