Glass bottle – blue dispensing bottle with smoky top is an elegant and functional packaging suitable for high-quality cosmetic products as well as professional formulations. The solid glass provides stable protection of the contents, making this packaging ideal for products where purity, precise dosing and a representative appearance of the final product are important. The darker shade of the glass helps reduce light penetration, which contributes to the protection of more sensitive components and to longer stability of the formulas.
This glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters. In practice, it can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical dosing applicators, allowing you to adapt the method of application to the specific type of product.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass bottle is a stable packaging material that is generally suitable also for products with a higher content of active ingredients, oils and natural extracts. The darker glass helps reduce light penetration, which can be an advantage for more sensitive formulations. Nevertheless, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test for every new product, within which you verify the behaviour of the packaging in short-term and longer-term contact with your specific formula.
The glass packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before every new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it appropriate to proceed with refilling.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and letting it dry completely. It is then appropriate to disinfect the inner surface, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or vegetable ethanol. After the alcohol residues have evaporated, the packaging is ready for filling. Always observe hygiene rules when working, use clean tools and minimise contact of the inner surface with your hands.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it into separate waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass body can generally be placed in the collection container intended for glass once you have removed any product residues. Any plastic or metal parts of the closure should be sorted according to local rules for separate collection. Before recycling, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the bottle so that no product residues remain in the waste.
The simplest way to choose a suitable bottle or jar is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can sort the products according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. This allows you to quickly filter out packaging that will match the required dosing, appearance and character of your product.
