With every reuse, however, strict hygiene rules must be observed – the dispenser and the corresponding bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before filling, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination during subsequent filling.

The dispenser is suitable mainly for thicker and semi-liquid preparations, such as facial and body creams, lotions, gels, serums, conditioners and other cosmetics where convenient and hygienic dosing is important. For very thin liquids, we recommend performing a test to verify whether the dosing corresponds to the desired mode of application and that no undesired excessive dose occurs.

We recommend verifying compatibility with a practical test: first check the match of the neck type and ensure correct screwing without loosening or skipping of the thread. Then fill a smaller trial amount of the product, press the dispenser several times and observe dosing smoothness, any leakage around the thread and the behaviour of the product after a certain storage time. In case of a change in viscosity or composition of the formulation, it is advisable to repeat the test.

After emptying the bottle, it is advisable to disassemble the dispenser to the extent allowed by the design and rinse it in warm water with a suitable cleaning agent. In case of reuse, not only mechanical cleaning but also disinfection of the internal parts that come into contact with the product is important – for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling the dispenser and filling it with a new product.

If you decide not to use the dispenser and the corresponding bottle or vial any further, we recommend that, after emptying and basic cleaning, you place them in sorted waste according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Always follow local waste-sorting rules – plastic parts usually belong in the container designated for plastic, while any other material combinations should be sorted according to the instructions of the municipality or waste collection company.
