White-gold dropper 50 mm is a practical dispensing component designed for precise and hygienic application of liquid products in drops. It reliably complements glass and plastic dropper bottles and smaller bottles, making it suitable for packaging cosmetic products, serums, oils and concentrated blends where controlled and gentle dosing is important.
A well-designed dropper helps minimise the contact of the contents with the external environment, reduces the risk of contamination and at the same time facilitates dosing even with more viscous formulations. In combination with a suitable bottle, it thus creates a professional-looking, functional and user-comfortable packaging for homemade and artisan products.
This dropper is intended for use in combination with a compatible dropper bottle or bottle according to the selected neck parameters. Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, so that the final product is reliable and comfortable to use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The dropper is designed for dosing liquid and slightly more viscous oil formulations, with the final behaviour depending on the viscosity of the specific product. For distinctly viscous oils or gel serums, we recommend first testing the dosing on a small sample to check the smoothness of dripping and then adapting the final composition or the type of packaging accordingly.
The dropper must be combined only with a bottle that has a neck corresponding to the product parameters. After inserting the pipette into the neck, tighten the closure evenly, without excessive force, so that neither the seal nor the thread is damaged. Afterwards, we recommend performing a leak test – carefully turning the bottle upside down and shaking it briefly to check that there is no leakage of contents during normal handling.
The dropper can be reused in home and artisan production, provided you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using IPA or ethanol, to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature before using them again.
After the contents have been used up, we recommend disassembling the dropper into individual parts (if the design allows it) and rinsing product residues with a suitable solvent compatible with the formulation used, most often warm water with a mild cleaning agent or alcohol. Then carry out disinfection using products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After rinsing, let all parts air-dry completely so that no moisture remains in the dropper which could compromise the stability of the next batch of product.
When selecting suitable packaging, we recommend using the extended filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on a particular category, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can sort products according to several parameters – for example by type and diameter of the neck, size, colour or material. In this way, you can quickly select a bottle, dropper bottle, jar or closure that will match your formulation and the desired appearance of the final product.
If you decide not to reuse the dropper, we recommend removing any product residues from its individual parts and then placing them in sorted waste according to the material stated in the product parameters on the site. You should follow local waste-sorting rules – plastic components usually belong in the plastic container, any glass parts in the glass container. Before disposal, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the dropper so that no significant residues of cosmetic preparations enter the sorted waste.
