The spray pump can be used repeatedly provided that you follow basic hygiene principles. Before filling, always remove the spray pump from the bottle, rinse all parts with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. We then recommend disinfecting the components – for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the parts to air out completely and only then fill the packaging with your product.

For which types of products is this spray pump most suitable in terms of consistency?

The spray pump is ideal for low-viscosity, liquid formulations – especially aqueous solutions, hydrosols, alcohol blends, gentle face and body sprays or light hair products. With thicker emulsions, oil serums or gels, the flow may be restricted and the spraying may not create an even mist. We recommend always testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in the selected packaging in advance.

Can I use this spray pump repeatedly for different products one after another?

Yes, the spray pump can be used repeatedly if you ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection between individual fillings. After the contents have been used up, disassemble the bottle and spray pump, carefully rinse the mechanical part, allow clean water to run through the dip tube and then disinfect all parts using a suitable alcohol – for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and aired out should you refill with a new product.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the spray pump if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the spray pump, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with the material information stated in the product parameters.
