18 mm black smooth plastic cap with safety ring and dropper insert represents a functional closure for precise dosing of liquid preparations into small bottles and vials. Thanks to the integrated safety ring and dropper, it is suitable for the safe packaging of products where controlled, drop-by-drop withdrawal of the contents and protection against unintentional opening are important.
This type of closure is ideal for formulations that require gentle, precise and hygienic dosing – from cosmetic serums to aromatic blends and extracts. The smooth surface looks aesthetic, combines well with different types of bottles and, thanks to the plastic design, the packaging remains lightweight and practical to handle even with frequent use.
This cap with dropper is intended for use with compatible bottles and vials with a corresponding neck and thread type. The bottles available on Handymade.sk are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product detail.
The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The cap with integrated dropper is designed primarily for low- to medium-viscosity liquids where dropwise dosing is required. For more viscous oils, we recommend performing a dosing test on a small sample before attaching it to the final product – this will verify whether the dropper allows stable and smooth dripping of drops without clogging or excessively slow flow.
The cap can be reused if hygiene principles are followed, for example for internal testing of formulas or when refilling the same type of product. Before each new filling, however, the cap packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new batch.
When attaching the cap, first check that the bottle neck is clean and dry, without product residues on the thread. Then place the closure straight and tighten it evenly to avoid cross-threading. After the first closure, check both in an upright and horizontal position that no leakage occurs, and test the dropwise dosing – when the bottle is slowly turned over, regular and consistent drops should flow out.
We recommend first mechanically cleaning the cap from product residues and then rinsing it with a suitable solvent according to the nature of the original filling. After basic cleaning, the packaging must be disinfected with alcohol, for example with the preparations IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly at room temperature in a clean and dust-free place so that no liquid residues remain in the dropper which could affect further use.
If you decide not to use the cap any further, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, placing it into sorted waste according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters. In the table next to the product you will find information on the material and the recommended recycling symbol – according to this, place it in the appropriate container for separate collection. In this way you support efficient processing of plastic materials and reduce the amount of waste in mixed municipal rubbish.
To make selecting the packaging easier, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the filter you can clearly set parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material and display only those bottles, vials, caps or dispensers that suit your formulation. This allows you to quickly find compatible combinations of packaging and closure for your specific product.
