Can this dropper be reused for home cosmetic production?

The dropper can be reused provided that you observe basic hygiene principles and monitor its mechanical condition. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the dropper and subsequently disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant solution, for example with 99% isopropyl alcohol or with 96% denatured plant-based ethanol. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and ensure the highest possible stability of the new batch of product.

For which type of products is the dropper most suitable in terms of viscosity?

The dropper is ideal for low- to medium-viscosity liquids such as aqueous solutions, hydrating serums, oils, light emulsions or drop concentrates. For very thick creams or gels, drop-by-drop dosing may be limited, so we always recommend first performing a test filling and verifying whether the dosing method meets your requirements.

How should the dropper be properly cleaned between individual batches of products?

After emptying the bottle, it is appropriate to dismantle the dropper into individual parts, if its construction allows, and mechanically remove product residues. Then rinse it with a suitable cleaning medium (for example a neutral soapy solution or a solvent compatible with the used formulation), rinse with clean water and allow it to dry thoroughly. Before refilling, we recommend disinfecting the component with an alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99% or with 96% ethanol, and only reuse it after complete evaporation of the alcohol.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the dropper if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the dropper any further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues before discarding it. Then adapt the method of disposal to the material composition indicated in the product parameters – according to this, sort it into the appropriate recycling stream (for example plastic or composite packaging).
