Glass bottle with dispenser represents a professional solution for packaging liquid products that require precise and controlled dosing. Thanks to high‑quality glass and a practical dispensing system, this bottle is suitable for packaging cosmetic and technical formulations where product protection and reliable closure are important. Glass is a material with high chemical stability, making the packaging suitable for various liquid mixtures that must not come into contact with reactive plastics.
Glass bottles with a standardized neck are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or acids.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (rinsing with a suitable detergent and clean water) and subsequently disinfecting it with alcohol. For disinfection of the packaging and the dispensing part you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After disinfection, allow all components to dry thoroughly at room temperature.
Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to always clean the bottle and the dispensing part and then disinfect them, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant‑based ethanol 96 %. We recommend ensuring that no residual water or old product remains inside the packaging or in the dispenser, as these could affect the stability of the new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material indicated in the product parameter table. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in a container intended for glass, while plastic or combined dispensing components (pumps, caps) generally belong in plastic waste collection or mixed waste, according to local rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the containers and remove residual product to facilitate the subsequent recycling line.
Glass as a material is generally very stable even for formulations with a higher proportion of alcohol or essential oils, which makes the bottle a suitable packaging for many toners, tinctures or aromatic blends for external use. However, for the dispensing part (pump, closure, insert) we recommend performing your own compatibility test to verify the resistance of the plastic components to the specific mixture, as well as the smoothness of dosing during long‑term use.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category (for example bottles, pharmaceutical bottles or cosmetic packaging) you will find advanced filtering at the top of the page. This allows you to clearly select according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging and to find more quickly the most suitable bottle or jar for your specific formulation.
