We recommend filling the bottle so that a sufficient free space remains between the product level and the end of the pipette, which allows trouble-free suction of the liquid. After filling, close the bottle with the dropper and gently test the dosing several times to verify uniform suction and release of the drops. In the case of more viscous oils or serums, it is advisable to work more slowly and, if necessary, adjust the formulation so that the liquid has a consistency suitable for drop dosing.

The dropper can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are followed and appropriate cleaning is carried out between individual batches. Before each new filling, the entire packaging – the bottle and the dropper – must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to prevent microbiological contamination and transfer of residues from the previous formulation. For disinfection, we recommend using technical alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which are suitable for quick and effective treatment of the packaging surface before reuse.

During use, it is recommended to avoid excessive mechanical stress on the pipette and the rubber or plastic parts in order to prevent deformation. After the bottle has been emptied, disassemble the dropper, rinse it with a suitable cleaning agent compatible with the formulation used, and then allow it to dry completely at room temperature. Avoid contact with very hot water or aggressive cleaning chemicals, which could shorten the service life of the material and affect sealing during further use.

If you do not wish to continue using the dropper, we recommend first removing any product residues and, where possible, separating the individual parts (glass, plastic or rubber components) according to the information given in the parameter table for the product. Then place them into the appropriate collection containers in accordance with local recycling rules. When handling packaging that has been in contact with active substances or concentrated blends, it is advisable to rinse the packaging before placing it into sorted waste in order to minimize remaining contents.
