The dropper can be used repeatedly; however, we recommend keeping it for one specific formulation in order to minimise mixing of residues of different products. With each repeated filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging in accordance with hygiene principles. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which help remove residues of oils and active substances from the surface of the dropper.

Before repeated use we recommend first mechanically rinsing the dropper with a suitable solvent according to the type of product (for example with a vegetable oil for oil blends, followed by a mild cleaning solution). Then it is important to carry out disinfection using preparations such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection the dropper must be allowed to dry completely at room temperature on a clean, uncontaminated surface, and only then should it be used again or fitted onto the bottle.

The dropper needs to be fitted onto a compatible bottle or vial according to the recommendations in the product parameters. When mounting, proceed evenly, without excessive twisting or forceful pressure, so that the sealing part is not damaged. After fitting, we recommend carrying out a test filling with a small amount of product and checking the tightness by gently inverting the container as well as the accuracy of dosing. If the drops do not drip evenly, check the correct seating of the dropper and the cleanliness of its outlet opening.

If you decide not to use the dropper further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues. Then dispose of it according to the type of material listed in the parameter table for the product – it is advisable to place the packaging in the appropriate sorted waste stream according to local collection rules. Recycling instructions may differ depending on the municipality or city, so we recommend following local guidelines for sorting packaging materials.
