Glossy silver dropper 103 mm is a practical accessory for dropper bottles and medicine bottles, enabling comfortable, precise and hygienic dosing of liquid formulations in small volumes. Thanks to the suitably shaped pipette and functional closure, it is ideal for products where control over every drop is important, whether it is cosmetics, plant extracts or concentrated solutions.
The glossy silver finish gives the packaging a professional and elegant appearance, which combines well with various types of bottles and increases the perceived value of the final product. The dropper is designed so that, when used correctly, it helps to minimise contact of the contents with the external environment and supports the long-term stability of more sensitive formulations.
This dropper is intended as a functional closure for selected bottles and medicine bottles available in the Handymade.sk range and, with correctly chosen parameters, allows comfortable and aesthetic dropwise dosing. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the final product will be stable and reliable in use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The dropper works most reliably when the bottle is in a vertical position while drawing up the liquid and the rubber part is squeezed smoothly without sudden jolts. After the liquid has been drawn up, tilt the bottle slightly and dispense drops by evenly releasing the pressure. For more viscous oils it may be necessary to squeeze the dropper a little more firmly or hold it above the application area for a bit longer so that the drops flow at a stable rate.
The dropper can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules and appropriate maintenance are followed. Before each new filling or when changing the type of product, the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to prevent microbial contamination and transfer of scents or colours between formulations. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. In the range you will find, for example, the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based, which are suitable for disinfecting packaging components before filling.
First separate the dropper from the bottle and remove residues of the original contents by rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution (for example warm water with a mild detergent, if it is compatible with the material and your type of product). We then recommend applying disinfection with alcohol – you can use, for example, IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Draw the alcohol into the pipette, pull it through the dropper system several times and let it evaporate at room temperature. After it has completely dried, the dropper is ready for reuse.
If you decide not to reuse the dropper or the entire bottle, we recommend recycling them in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The recycling procedure depends on the specific material stated in the product parameter table on the Handymade.sk website – according to this, sort the individual parts (glass bottle, plastic or metal components of the dropper) into the appropriate collection containers. Before handing them over for recycling, it is advisable to empty the packaging and, if possible, remove any product residues so that they do not affect the quality of the recycled material.
