Plastic bottle with dispenser represents a practical and presentable packaging solution for liquid cosmetic preparations, serums, hygienic solutions or other formulations where precise and comfortable dosing is important. The dark version of the bottle helps protect the more sensitive contents from undesirable light exposure, which is particularly beneficial for products with a higher proportion of active ingredients. The glossy dispenser enables controlled withdrawal of the contents and contributes to the professional appearance of the final product.
This packaging is supplied as a complete set – bottle with integrated dispenser, so it is ready for immediate filling and use without the need to purchase a separate closure. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The dispenser on this bottle is designed primarily for liquid and thinner emulsion formulations such as facial emulsions, body lotions or liquid serums. With very thick creams, dosing may be limited or uncomfortable, so we recommend carrying out a trial with a small amount of product and verifying whether the dispenser can handle the desired consistency without excessive resistance or clogging.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant ethanol. Allow the disinfectant to act, pour out the excess and let the packaging dry completely. At the same time, it is important that a single bottle is not used long-term for very different types of formulations (for example oil-based and subsequently aqueous solutions) without thorough intermediate cleaning, so that undesirable interaction between residues of the original product and the new contents does not occur.
First remove residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable medium (for example clean water or a small amount of a compatible surfactant solution), then rinse thoroughly with drinking water, or with demineralized water depending on the character of the formulation. After mechanical cleaning, the packaging and the dispenser must be disinfected – we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, which are often used in Handymade formulations. After applying the disinfectant, allow the packaging to drain, dry at room temperature and make sure that no residues of cleaning or disinfecting agents remain inside before refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend first emptying it and removing as much product residue as possible. Adapt the subsequent method of recycling to the type of plastic indicated in the parameter table for the product on Handymade – according to the recycling symbol given there, you will assign the bottle and the dispenser to the corresponding separated waste (usually the plastic container). If the dispenser has metal springs or a multi-component construction, it is advisable, where possible, to separate these parts and sort the materials separately. Always follow the local waste sorting rules in your municipality or city.
To make it easier to choose the right packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging material category. In the advanced filter you can clearly set parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material and thus narrow down the offer only to those packages that correspond to your formulation and your idea of the final product. We also recommend comparing several options and, for less common formulations, always carrying out a trial filling and a compatibility test of the packaging with your product.
