Glass roll-on medicine bottle 100 ml is a high-quality packaging intended mainly for precise, local and hygienic application of cosmetic and aromatherapeutic preparations. Thanks to the roll-on system, it is suitable for filling liquid as well as lightly oily formulations, where controlled dosing without unnecessary contact of the fingers with the contents is important.
This type of glass medicine bottle is ideal for products that require a practical, repeatable and clean method of application, whether it is everyday face and body care or targeted aromatherapy. Glass is a stable packaging material which, when used correctly, helps protect the formulation and preserve its desired properties during storage and use.
Glass medicine bottles of the roll-on type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected in the product detail. When choosing a suitable cap, roll-on mechanism or another dispensing system, we recommend basing your choice on the character of your formulation (viscosity, oil content, volatile components).
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing behaviour and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation during storage and use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, this glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle, the roll-on mechanism and any closure. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely and only then refill the packaging.
The roll-on medicine bottle is ideal for liquid and oil-based formulations that are applied locally in a small amount. It is particularly suitable for roll-on deodorants, facial and eye serums, aromatherapeutic blends with essential oils, perfume oils, SOS preparations for acne-prone skin or targeted regenerating blends for nails and cuticles. Before filling, we recommend testing the viscosity of the chosen product so that the roll-on ball ensures smooth dosing.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the glass medicine bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, then rinsing it thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After mechanical cleaning it is advisable to disinfect the packaging using a suitable alcohol (for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Let the bottle and the roll-on mechanism dry completely at room temperature so that no residual moisture remains in the packaging, and only then fill it with the chosen product.
If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend emptying it properly and removing any product residues. Then place the glass part of the bottle into the container designated for sorted glass collection according to the rules in your municipality. Plastic components (for example the roll-on mechanism, insert or plastic cap, if they are part of the pack) must be separated and disposed of in the appropriate container according to the plastic type stated in the parameter table for the product. Always follow the recycling instructions given in the parameters of the specific packaging and your local waste-sorting system.
The simplest way to choose a suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material category. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, medicine bottles or roll-on packaging), you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. There you can filter in detail according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. By combining several filters, you can quickly narrow down the range to the packaging that best matches your formulation and method of use.
Before deploying the packaging in final production, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test. Check whether the selected formulation flows well through the roll-on ball, whether the dosing corresponds to the desired amount and whether there is no leakage at the junction between the bottle and the applicator. Leave the packaging filled with the product for a certain time under conditions similar to the intended storage (temperature, handling) to verify stability, sealing and user comfort in real use.
