The glass dropper bottle represents a professional packaging solution for precise dosing of liquid preparations in home and artisanal production. The amber glass helps protect the sensitive contents from light, while the integrated dropper enables convenient and controlled application without unnecessary product waste. This type of bottle is popular for packing concentrated raw materials, where stability, purity and dosing accuracy are important.
This glass bottle with dropper forms a ready‑made combination of packaging and dosing system, designed for easy use and precise dosing. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for formulations with a higher content of acids, alcohol or essential oils.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially if you use it for a similar type of product. Before each new filling, however, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the dropper. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in our range as IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and preserves the quality of the new product.
The dropper bottle is most often used for packaging concentrated liquids where precise and gentle drop‑by‑drop dosing is required. These include, for example, facial serums with active ingredients, essential oils and aromatherapeutic blends, herbal extracts for external use or intensive treatment oils. Thanks to the amber glass it is also popular for oils and extracts that are sensitive to light, while the specific suitability always depends on the final composition of the product.
Before refilling we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly with water and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards it is necessary to disinfect the packaging, including the dropper, with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Allow the disinfectant to act briefly, remove any excess and before filling make sure that the inside of the container is dry and free from residues of cleaning agents, so that the stability of the new formulation is not affected.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste‑sorting rules and the information given in the parameter table for the product on our website. The glass part of the bottle can in most cases be placed in a glass container, and it is advisable to remove any product residues beforehand. The dropper and any plastic or rubber parts must be sorted separately according to the type of material, which is stated in the product parameters. By following these recommendations, you support effective recycling and a reduction in the amount of waste.
