Glass bottle – medicine bottle with white child-resistant cap is a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of liquid preparations. Thanks to high-quality glass and a practical cap with safety feature, it helps protect the contents against contamination, unintended opening and environmental influences, which makes it a reliable choice for cosmetic as well as laboratory and craft products.
The packaging is designed for filling various types of solutions, serums, tinctures or concentrates where stability, cleanliness and a professional presentation of the product are important. Glass is a materially stable material that does not transfer odours or taste to the contents, therefore it is suitable for formulations that require long-term and gentle storage.
Glass bottles – medicine bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation during both short-term and long-term storage.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface has completely dried is the packaging ready for further safe use.
First remove the residues of the original product by rinsing with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that does not leave a film or fragrance. Rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain in it. Then apply an alcohol-based disinfectant (e.g. IPA or ethanol), leave it to act according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and let the packaging dry at room temperature upside down. Clean the cap and any dosing components separately, and it is important that all parts are completely dry before the next use.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is advisable to recycle it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, after emptying and basic rinsing, is usually thrown into the container intended for glass. Unscrew the plastic or combined child-resistant cap and dispose of it in the container intended for the given type of plastic according to local waste sorting rules. For packaging that has contained residues of strongly pigmented or specific mixtures, always follow local recommendations for the disposal of such residues.
This type of glass bottle is popular for products where precise dosing and safe closing are important – for example for facial serums, special solutions for problematic skin, hair tonics, concentrated cosmetic blends or technical and laboratory solutions. The child-resistant cap helps reduce the risk of unintended opening when carried or used in the field, which is also practical for professional use.
To select the right packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the advanced filter, it is possible to combine several criteria at once – for example the type and diameter of the neck, the size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way, you can quickly narrow the selection only to packaging that meets the technical and design requirements of your formulation and make it easier to test the suitability of the individual options.
The child-resistant cap is designed so that, when correctly closed, it helps minimise the risk of unintended opening during handling and transport. When shipping parcels, however, we recommend testing the contents of the packaging under real conditions before dispatch – checking the sealing, tightening of the closure and proper cushioning of the parcel. Correctly securing the bottles inside the parcel and protecting them against impacts reduces the risk of damage to the glass even during longer transport.
