This glass medicine bottle with dropper forms a ready-made functional combination of packaging and dosing element. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the seal, the method and consistency of dosing, as well as the behaviour of the packaging and dropper in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, type of oil, presence of active substances, etc.).

Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is suitable for oil serums, elixirs and concentrated blends where precise, drop-by-drop dosing is important. Glass is a stable packaging material for most common cosmetic and aromatherapeutic oils. Before final implementation in production, we recommend testing the compatibility of the specific formulation with the packaging and the dropper (flowability, dosing, long-term storage).
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new product by residues of the previous filling.
We recommend first mechanically rinsing the dropper with a suitable solvent compatible with the original contents (for example a vegetable oil or a mild cleaning agent), then thoroughly rinsing it with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the internal parts with alcohol, for example using preparations based on isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and let them air out to remove alcohol residues before new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the rules indicated for the product in the parameter table. The glass bottle, after being emptied and rinsed, is usually placed in the appropriate glass container, while the plastic or composite parts of the dropper are sorted according to the material designation. Before handing over to sorted waste, it is advisable to remove product residues in order to facilitate processing in the recycling process.
