Glyceryl stearate is a natural emulsifier made from coconut oil, palm oil and palm kernel oil (it is GMO free). It is very easy to use and produces beautiful, smooth and creamy creams. It is EcoCert certified for use in natural cosmetics. It is also suitable for combining with other emulsifiers.
An emulsifier is a substance that enables a homogeneous mixture to be formed from otherwise immiscible liquids, e.g. water and oil. Adding an emulsifier to a mixture of water and oil produces an emulsion. These are, for example, creams, body lotions, shaving emulsions, make-up removing oils and anything containing oil and water.
Recommended dosage: 0 - 6 % (of the total weight of the preparation) mix into the oil phase and heat to 60 - 70 °C.
When using 25% oils, it is recommended to use 3% emulsifier. This is a highly stable emulsifier that can bind up to 40% of the oil component.
All raw materials supplied are cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use.
