Inulin is a polysaccharide extracted from chicory root using hot water. It is therefore a natural and organic alternative.
It forms a thin and silky coating on the skin and hair, which protects them. In hair products, it enhances smoothness and shine and also helps retain fragrance and nourishing ingredients.
It is a biodegradable, non-ionic and non-irritating raw material.
Inulin is a prebiotic that supports the skin's own macrobiotics. It also stops the growth of unwanted and harmful pathogens.
Inulin can be used in all hair (and scalp) and body cosmetic products such as:
* shampoos
* micellar lotions
* toners
* serums
* emulsions
* masks
* shower gels
The powder is easily soluble in water. Add it in the second stage of production.
All raw materials supplied are of cosmetic quality, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.
