Fractionated coconut oil is refined by fractionation from the coconut. In this process, the oil is separated into its different types of fatty acids. It is liquid and colourless and has no smell.
It is well absorbed into the skin and has an indefinite shelf life as it is 100% saturated. It is ideal for use in aromatherapy and in the manufacture of cosmetic skin products and massage oils. It can also be applied to the skin on its own, absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy feeling.
Combined with essential oils, it makes a luxurious natural bath oil or massage blend. Coconutoil helps the skin to regulateits sebum secretion and helps the skin naturally reach a pH of 5.5.
