Product description

Glass bottle – apothecary bottle with cream dispenser and smoked cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for various cosmetic formulations with a creamy or emulsion consistency. Durable glass combined with a precise dispensing mechanism helps maintain the stability of the contents and ensures comfortable, hygienic use during everyday application. The elegant smoked cap at the same time supports the premium appearance of your products and helps protect the preparation from excessive contact with air.

Possible uses

  • creamy and emulsion facial preparations (day and night creams, serum in a cream base, eye creams)
  • caring products for hands and body (body milks, light creamy balms, hand creams)
  • special dermal‑cosmetic preparations (topical creams, soothing and regenerating creams)
  • caring creamy formulations for hair and scalp (leave‑in creams, hair milks, serum in a cream base)
  • cosmetic products with a higher share of active ingredients, where controlled dosing and minimization of contamination of the contents are important

Advantages of the packaging

  • Material stability – the glass container is chemically resistant, does not react with most cosmetic raw materials, and minimizes the migration of substances from the packaging into the product.
  • Protection of the contents – sturdy glass and a closable dispenser reduce the contact of the formulation with air and with the hands, helping to maintain hygiene during use and supporting longer‑term stability of the cosmetic.
  • Precise and comfortable dosing – the cream dispenser allows application of an appropriate amount of product without the need to reach into the container, which is ideal for professional as well as home use.
  • Aesthetic and premium appearance – the smoked cap gives the packaging a modern, elegant design suitable for branded and gift cosmetic ranges.
  • Universal use in cosmetics – a single bottle can be used for various types of creamy products, which facilitates unifying the design of the entire product line.

Combining with closures and dispensers

The glass bottle – apothecary bottle with smoked cap and cream dispenser is supplied as a functional combination of container and dispensing system, ready for immediate filling. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verify sealing, uniformity of dosing, and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of oils, active substances, and preservatives). This will ensure optimal use under your conditions and under the real load on the packaging.

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this glass bottle also suitable for thicker creamy formulations?

Yes, the dispenser is designed for the application of creams and emulsions with normal to medium‑high viscosity, typical for facial and body creams. For very dense balms or buttery textures, we recommend first carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the dispenser can expel the product smoothly and without excessive pressure. Testing on a small batch will allow you, if necessary, to adjust the viscosity of the formulation so that dosing remains comfortable.

Can I use this bottle and dispenser repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly for cosmetic products, provided you strictly follow hygienic practices. Before each new filling, the bottle and dispenser must be carefully cleaned and disinfected in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the new batch. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you will find in the offer as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96% denatured plant‑based. After applying the alcohol, allow all parts to dry completely, and only then refill the bottle.

How should I correctly fill the bottle to prevent the formation of bubbles and problems with dosing?

Fill the cream or emulsion into the bottle slowly and smoothly, ideally using a filling gun, funnel, or syringe without a needle. Avoid vigorously pouring from a greater height, which may introduce air into the product and create bubbles. After filling, by gently tapping the bottle against a surface you help the cream to settle and remove air pockets. Then firmly attach the dispenser, check that it is tightened, and test by pressing several times to see whether the system is primed and doses uniformly.

How should I recycle the glass bottle and plastic dispenser when I will no longer use them?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations arising from the material parameters in the product details. The glass container, after thorough emptying and rinsing, is normally sorted into the glass container, and it is advisable to remove label residues where this is possible without damaging the glass. The dispenser and plastic parts (caps, pump) generally belong among plastic packaging; however, follow the pictograms and information given with the product so that the individual components are sorted as accurately as possible according to the material used.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the extended filter in the packaging material categories. You can access it at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category, where you can filter the available packaging in detail according to parameters such as neck type, size, color, or material. Thanks to this you will quickly find bottles, apothecary bottles, jars, or pots that meet the requirements of your formulation, brand design, and dosing method.

What should I pay attention to when storing filled bottles with creams?

Store filled bottles in a dry, clean environment, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. The stability of creams and emulsions is sensitive to heat, so it is advisable to keep them at the temperature recommended according to the formulation and the preservative system used. Do not overfill the bottles beyond the recommended level so that the dispenser has enough space to function correctly. When handling stocks, avoid impacts and tipping of the packaging, which helps prevent damage to the glass as well as to the dispensing mechanism.
