The glass bottle with a silver matte dropper is a practical packaging for professional and home formulations where precise drop-by-drop dosing is important. Thanks to the high-quality design of the glass bottle and the functional dropper, it is suitable for packaging various liquid formulations that require controlled and hygienic withdrawal of the contents. The packaging is ideal for cosmetic and craft products that need a dignified presentation and reliable protection during storage and use.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Only after it is completely dry is the container ready to be refilled with a new formulation.
After the packaging has been emptied, it is advisable to dismantle the dropper into individual parts to the extent allowed by the construction and rinse them with warm water and a mild cleaning agent. We then recommend disinfecting the components with an alcohol solution (e.g. using products from the Handymade range) and letting them dry freely at room temperature. Avoid mechanical damage to the rubber or plastic parts so as not to affect sealing and dosing.
This type of packaging is ideal for formulations where drop-by-drop dosing is necessary – for example concentrated facial serums, oil elixirs, aromatherapeutic blends or active substances added to creams and toners just before use. It works best with low- to medium-viscosity liquids that flow through the dropper smoothly and without clogging. For thicker or highly viscous products, we always recommend performing a practical dosing test.
We recommend storing the filled bottle in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and protected from direct sunlight. After each use, it is important to close the dropper carefully in order to minimise the contact of the contents with air. For formulations with a higher proportion of volatile substances or sensitive actives, we recommend not overheating the packaging, not placing it near heat sources and following the storage recommendations specified for the particular product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible and wiping off product residues with an absorbent material. Then place the glass container in the bin intended for glass sorting according to the local rules of separated waste collection. The dropper and other auxiliary components should be sorted according to the type of material given in the product parameters on Handymade – typically into the appropriate plastic container or into mixed waste if local conditions do not allow more detailed sorting.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. Thanks to the filter, you can quickly narrow down the selection according to parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour variant and material used. By combining several filters, you can easily choose a suitable bottle, medicine bottle or jar exactly for the specific formulation and method of application of your product.
