Natural MCT (Middle Chain Tryglyceride) oil is a light, clear, odorless oil. It is isolated fatty acids (caprylic and capric) from coconut oil, palm oil and palm kernel oil in varying proportions to form a silky and dry oil form.
It is therefore not an oil in the strict sense of the word. MCT oil is an excellent emollient and solvent. It easily penetrates the skin and forms a light non-greasy barrier.
It helps the absorption of vitamins and active ingredients into the skin. Due to its composition, it has a very high stability and resistance to oxidation, so its shelf life is almost indefinite.
