Cosmetic packaging

Packaging is what turns a formulation into a finished product. This branch holds 3,770 items across nine subcategories — from glass dropper bottles through jars for creams to paper bags for the final wrap. The largest share belongs to Cosmetic bottles with 3,470 items; the rest is covered by specialist packaging for balms, tablets, cleaning products and home fragrance.

Which container for which product

Choose by what you are going to fill — the consistency of the product and the way it is dispensed settle the type of container more reliably than anything else.

• Serums, oils, toners and shampoos: Cosmetic bottles (3,470 items) — glass bottles with a dropper or a pipette, plastic and aluminium bottles with a dispenser or a sprayer, airless bottles and roll-ons.
• Creams, butters and scrubs: Cosmetic jars (179 items) — plastic, glass and aluminium jars from 1.5 ml samples to one-litre tubs and multi-litre buckets with a lid.
• Lip balms and solid cosmetics: Lip balm containers (14 items) — twist-up plastic containers and 4 ml tubes in several colours.
• Capsules and tablets: Pill jars (36 items) — plastic jars from 100 to 250 ml, a large part of them with an induction liner in the lid.
• Household cleaning: Cleaning detergent bottles (26 items) — 500 ml to 1 l bottles with a sprayer, a trigger sprayer, a foamer or a push-pull closure.
• Home fragrance: Diffusers (16 items) — a glass diffuser vessel and surgical steel diffuser pendants with felt rings.
• Decorative cosmetics: Make-up packaging (2 items) — a plastic mascara with a brush and a spiral wand.
• Larger volumes: Jerry cans and canisters (1 item) — a white 20 l plastic jerry can with UN marking.
• Gift and final wrapping: Bags and pouches (26 items) — paper carrier bags, kraft and organza pouches, resealable bags.

Caps and threads

A bottle and its cap have to share the same thread — you will find it in the product name as a code such as 24/410, 28/410 or 28 mm. Separate caps, droppers, dispensers and sprayers are kept in the Caps and closures branch (189 items), so you can sell the same bottle with a dropper and with a spray. On every packaging product page the site also lists the compatible caps — and on a cap, the containers with the same thread.

Glass, plastic or aluminium

Choose the material to suit the formulation and the way you fill. Glass dominates among the dropper bottles for oils and serums — we offer glass bottles in clear, white, frosted, amber, blue, green and glossy black finishes, and glass jars in volumes from 5 ml to 210 ml. Plastic covers the widest range: from 1.5 ml sample jars through bottles with 18/410 and 24/410 threads to one-litre tubs, buckets and the 20 l jerry can. Aluminium is the third route, for sprays and solid cosmetics — bottles from 50 ml to 225 ml with dispensers and sprayers, and jars with a lid from 5 ml to 200 ml.

From a sample to a production run

We sell packaging in pack sizes from a sample to wholesale, so you can try a new container on a few pieces first and order a series only afterwards. Selected items also come in large cartons — jars in 960s or plastic bottles in 455s, for example.
