Gloss Black Glass Bottle, White Nasal Spray, 100 ml

The black glass bottle with nasal sprayer is a ready-made set for water-based preparations that are applied in small measured doses as a fine mist. The bottle is shaped like a medicine bottle with a nominal volume of 100 ml and is made of black glossy glass, which protects the contents from light. The white sprayer with an 18/410 neck finish has a long, narrow nozzle, so the contents are sprayed precisely and without dripping.

The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics. It is suitable for hydrosols, water-based serums, toners and refreshing sprays, where the same dose with every use is important.

How the sprayer works

One press releases approximately 0.12 ml of the contents. This dose suits preparations where the customer is meant to apply the same small amount each time. The pump draws the contents up through a dip tube reaching into the bottle, and the nozzle disperses them into a fine mist. Before first use, press the sprayer several times without product until the pump fills and begins to dispense evenly.

The sprayer consists of plastic parts and a steel spring. It works without problems with water-based and hydrosol preparations. For contents with a higher alcohol content or an oil component, we recommend checking the behaviour of the nozzle and the tightness directly with your specific formulation.

What it is suitable for

• Hydrosols and water-based toners – light water-based contents are sprayed evenly, and the black glass protects sensitive ingredients from light.
• Water-based serums with active ingredients – the same dose per press makes it easier to apply the same amount repeatedly.
• Refreshing and soothing sprays – the long nozzle allows targeted application to a smaller area.

Good to know

The nominal volume is the amount the packaging is designed for under normal filling. The brimful volume is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference provides room for the dip tube and the pump of the sprayer and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled up to the nominal volume, not to the brim, otherwise the contents will overflow when the sprayer is screwed on.

Before the first filling, wash the bottle, disinfect it with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. It is enough to rinse the sprayer with clean water and let it dry. The glass bottle withstands repeated use. After emptying, rinse the sprayer, and when changing the contents, it is better to replace it with a new one.

The bottle is made of glass and, once the sprayer is removed, belongs in glass waste. The sprayer combines plastics and steel and is separated from the bottle before recycling.
