Amber Matte Glass Bottle with Roll-On, 30 ml

Glass bottle, matte medicine bottle, roll-on, 30 ml, applies perfume oil, serum or an aromatherapy blend directly to the skin with a roller ball, without dripping and without contact with the fingers. The amber matte glass also limits the amount of light reaching the contents. It is suitable for products applied to small areas: pulse points, temples, the eye area or individual blemishes.

The set includes everything needed for closing and applying. The bottle has an 18/410 neck finish, into which a clear holder with a metal roller ball is fitted, and a black cap is screwed on top. The matte surface of the glass reduces glare, and you will appreciate the dark glass with essential oils and oils sensitive to oxidation. The packaging is declared suitable for direct contact with cosmetic products; you will find the declaration of conformity with the product.

Suitable uses

• Perfume oils and roll-on perfumes – an anhydrous blend of a fragrance composition in a carrier oil is applied with the roller ball precisely to the wrists, neck or behind the ears, without spraying and without waste.
• Aromatherapy roll-ons – essential oils diluted in jojoba, sweet almond or fractionated coconut oil, for the temples, the back of the neck or pulse points.
• Eye and facial oils, liquid serums – the roller ball dispenses a small amount directly where it is needed and feels cool on contact.
• Targeted products – thin oil or alcohol tinctures for individual blemishes, which need to be applied precisely and without contaminating the rest of the contents.

The roll-on applicator is designed for liquid contents. Oils, low-viscosity oleogels and thin serums pass through it without problems. A thick cream or gel will not come out past the roller ball and will dry in the bottle.

Filling and volume

The bottle is intended to be filled up to the nominal volume of 30 ml. The brimful capacity listed in the parameters is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between the two values is a reserve for the roller ball holder, which is pushed into the neck and displaces part of the contents, and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. If you fill the bottle to the brim, the contents will overflow when the roller ball is fitted.

Before filling for the first time, wash the bottle and the holder with the roller ball, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leave them to dry completely. Residual water in an anhydrous oil shortens its shelf life and spoils the appearance of the product.

Good to know

The metal roller ball, its PP holder and the cap all come into contact with the contents. For formulations with a high proportion of undiluted essential oils, fragrance compositions or alcohol, we recommend checking how the closure behaves in the specific blend, especially the tightness and the smooth rotation of the roller ball.

During transport and when carrying the bottle in a bag, always keep the cap tightened. At higher temperatures the oil expands and may leak around the roller ball.

The bottle is made of glass, so protect it from falls and sudden temperature changes. Always fill the roll-on with cooled contents. Let a heated oil phase or blend settle to room temperature first, otherwise the contents will contract as they cool and air will be drawn into the bottle.

You can refill the bottle repeatedly. Before recycling, separate the holder with the roller ball and the cap from the glass; the glass belongs in glass recycling and the plastic parts in plastics recycling.
