Tall glass roll-on vial 50 ml is a practical and elegant bottle designed for precise and hygienic application of liquid preparations using a roll-on applicator. Thanks to the high-quality glass, it is suitable for packaging cosmetic blends that require a stable, inert container without affecting the product’s fragrance, colour or consistency. The roll-on system enables comfortable, targeted application of a thin layer of the preparation directly onto the skin without contact with the hands.
This type of vial is ideal for products that require even spreading and dosing in small amounts – whether oil blends, aqueous solutions or natural aromatherapeutic cosmetics. Thanks to precise workmanship, the packaging is also suitable for professional and artisan brands that emphasise reliability, hygiene and a representative appearance of the packaging.
This glass vial is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, especially with roll-on heads, but also with screw caps, droppers or spray pumps, depending on the selected product parameters. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass roll-on vial is commonly used for oil-based as well as water-based or hydroalcoholic cosmetic preparations. Before final filling, we always recommend carrying out a trial filling to verify the flow through the roll-on ball, the sealing of the closure and the behaviour of the specific formulation over time. In this way you can verify in advance that dosing is smooth, does not leak, and that the consistency of the preparation works well with the applicator.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed; however, we recommend dedicating it ideally to the same type of product (for example, always the same type of oil or serum). Before each new filling, the bottle, roll-on mechanism and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfecting surfaces and inner walls, you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, available in the Handymade range: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after thorough drying is the packaging ready for further safe use.
First remove residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable solvent (for example, a vegetable oil for oil blends or water for aqueous solutions); then wash the packaging with a mild soapy solution and rinse thoroughly. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect the inner walls and the roll-on mechanism using alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Before refilling, allow all parts to dry completely so that moisture does not accumulate in the container and conditions for microbial growth do not arise.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing to remove product residues, place the glass part of the vial into the appropriate glass collection container. Plastic or metal components of the closure, or of the roll-on mechanism, are sorted according to their material, or placed into mixed waste if separate sorting is not possible. When recycling, follow local waste-sorting rules and the information in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website.
To make it easier to choose a suitable bottle, vial or jar, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging material category. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several criteria – for example, type and diameter of the neck, required packaging size, colour and material. In this way you can quickly display only those containers that are suitable for your product and the intended dosing method.
